McCrory discusses budget, education during small business tour

After taking a walking tour of downtown Morganton with government officials, local leaders, area residents, entrepreneurs and small business owners, Gov. Pat McCrory stopped at Abele’s Family Restaurant on Friday. He sat down for an intimate discussion with community members to answer their questions, address their concerns and share with them what’s been going on in Raleigh since he took office.

“Let me just say, it’s great being here in Morganton,” he said. “I want to make this a conversation instead of a speech.”
