Thomas H. Kincaid MORGANTON Thomas H. Kincaid, 76, of Morganton, died Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at Caremoor Retirement Center in Kannapolis. Born Sept. 14, 1936, in Avery County, he was a son of the late Ben Kincaid and Evelyn Clark Kincaid. Thomas was an active member of St. Matthews United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir, served as President of his Sunday school class, and participated in the Men's Club. He is survived by a son, Randy Kincaid and wife, Shelia, of Morganton; a daughter, Debbie Mace and husband, Paul, of Morganton; a grandson, Davey M. Anderson and wife, Laura, of Valdese; a brother, Tom Kincaid and wife, Teresa, of Kannapolis; a sister, Viola Greene and husband, Maynard, of Lenoir; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Cooke Kincaid; brothers, Benny, Johnny and Charles Kincaid; and a sister, Jean Martin. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, July 26, at St. Matthews United Methodist Church with the Rev. Heather Kilborne officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:30 to 3 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. At other times, the family will be at the residence, 212 Brentwood Rd. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Ln., Kannapolis, NC 28081.
