Johnson, Catawba County, Lienholder TO: Unknown Heirs at Law of Ida R. Johnson, Catawba County, Lienholder Take notice that a pleading seeking relief against you has been filed in the above-entitled action. The nature of the relief being sought is as follows: Foreclosure sale to satisfy unpaid property taxes owing to City of Hickory on your interest in the property described as follows: Tract One: BEGINNING AT AN IRON stake in the North margin of a 15 foot alleyway, Roadie Hooper's South West corner, and runs thence with his line North 1-30 East, 112 feet to an iron stake, his Northwest corner; then North 89 West with Louis Puett's line, 50 feet to an iron stake in his line; then South 1-30 West, 111.7 feet to an iron stake in the northern margin of the said Alleyway; than with the northern margin of said Alleyway, South 88-30 East 50 feet to the point of beginning, this being lot No. 3 of the Tony Patterson estate, according to a survey and plat of the same, made by Bohan Engineering Co. Tract Two: BEGINNING at a stake in the Northern margin of 15 foot alley, said stake being at the Southeast corner of the lot of land conveyed by Norwood Patterson and wife, Carrie Patterson, to Ida R. Johnson, by deed dated November 12, 1947 and recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds for Catawba County, North Carolina in Book 385, Page 535, and runs from said beginning point with the Eastern boundary line of said lot so conveyed by Norwood Patterson and wife to Ida R. Johnson, North 1 deg. 30 min. East 112 feet to a stake, the Northeast corner of said lot; thence South 89 deg. 00 min. East 25 feet to a stake, a new corner, which is located North 89 deg. West 25 feet from the Northwestern corner of the lot conveyed by Norwood Patterson and wife, to Roscoe Dula and wife, by deed dated December 24, 1948 and recorded in the Catawba County Registry in Book 410 of Deeds at page 359; thence South 1 deg. 30 min. West 112.15 feet to a stake in the Northern margin of said alley, which stake is North 88 deg. 30 min. West 25 feet from the Southwest corner of said lot so conveyed to Roscoe Dula and wife; thence with the Northern margin of said alley North 88 deg. 30 min. West 25 feet to the point of beginning. The same being the Western half of the land conveyed by Readie Hooper, a widower, to J. C. Derr, by deed dated May 6, 1950, and recorded in the Catawba County Registry in Book 416 of Deeds at page 231; and being also the Western half of Lot No, 2 of the Tony Patterson estate property according to a survey and plat of the same made by Bohan Engineering Company. Subject to easements, restrictions and rights of way of record, and matters of survey. Said two tracts, when combined, being identified as Parcel ID# 3702-11-56-5969, Catawba County Tax Office. Address: 124 6th Avenue Place SW, Hickory NC Plaintiff seeks to extinguish any and all claims and interests that you may have in the property, to have a commissioner appointed to sell the Property and to deliver to the purchaser a deed to said real estate in fee simple, free and clear of all encumbrances, and that the interests and equities of redemption of the Defendants in the property be forever barred and foreclosed. You are required to make defense to such pleading not later than January 14, 2020 and upon your failure to do so the party seeking service against you will apply to the court for the relief sought.
