Blackburn, Catawba County, Lienholder Take notice that a pleading seeking relief against you has been filed in the above-entitled action. The nature of the relief being sought is as follows: Foreclosure sale to satisfy unpaid property taxes owing to City of Hickory on your interest in the property described as follows: BEGINNING at a stake in Eighth Street, in the City of Hickory, A. A. Whitener's Southeast corner, and running with said Whitener's line, North 86° West 329 feet to a stake in John Miller's line, A. A. Whitener's Southwest corner; thence with said Miller's line, South 4° West 90-1/2 feet, more or less, to a stake, Miller's Southeast corner in Lock's line; thence with said Lock's line, South 85° East, 329 feet to a stake in Eighth Street; thence with said street, North 3-1/2° East 87-1/4 feet to the BEGINNING, the whole of the tract or parcel of land which was conveyed to J. T. Regan by G. P. Campbell and wife, by deed dated July 31st, 1909, recorded in Book 93, at Page 56, except two certain lots which have heretofore been sold and conveyed and are now owned by A. A. Whitener and John Miller, respectively. Subject to easements, restrictions and rights of way of record, and matters of survey. Also being identified as Parcel ID# 3702-08-77-5667, Catawba County Tax Office. Address: 336 3rd Street SE, Hickory, NC 28602 Plaintiff seeks to extinguish any and all claims and interests that you may have in the property, to have a commissioner appointed to sell the Property and to deliver to the purchaser a deed to said real estate in fee simple, free and clear of all encumbrances, and that the interests and equities of redemption of the Defendants in the property be forever barred and foreclosed. You are required to make defense to such pleading not later than January 14, 2020 and upon your failure to do so the party seeking service against you will apply to the court for the relief sought.
