Catawba Brewing Co. and Josh Goodfellow of Codex Sound Co. are partnering for Open Stage to help raise funds for local nonprofits. This month's recipient is Burke County United Way. A portion of Farmer Ted's beer sales will go to the organization. Goodfellow and Scott Moss of the band Big Daddy Love will be running the Open Stage performances. KINKY BOOTS, the smash-hit musical that brings together four-time Tony Award-winner Harvey Fierstein (Book) and Grammy Award-winning rock icon Cyndi Lauper (Tony Award-winner for Best Score for KINKY BOOTS), will hit the stage at The City of Morganton Municipal Auditorium on Jan. 11.
KINKY BOOTS tells the uplifting and heartwarming tale of Charlie Price, a young man reluctantly taking over his family’s struggling shoe factory and looking for a fresh idea. Charlie meets and finds inspiration in Lola, and together they discover that it takes a good friend to make a great pair.

History Museum of Burke County — 201 W.
