Freedom high school recently hosted the Keys to Life Program sponsored by Carolinas HealthCare System Blue Ridge, Burke County Public Schools, North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement, N.C. Governor’s Highway Safety Program, Burke County Rescue Squad, Burke County EMS, Med Center Air, Burke County Sheriff’s Office, Morganton Department of Public Safety, Chick-fil-a of Morganton, Jake’s Towing and Wendy B’s Embroidery and Screen Printing.

The program showed students the realities of drink driving through a mock wreck scene and words of advice from two FHS teachers.
