Thirty-one artists submitted concepts in sculpture, painting, performance, photography, sound, mixed media, drawing, music and interactive exhibits for the fall 2019 ART/RE/ART event at the historic Giles Motors building on South Sterling Street in downtown Morganton. Nancy VanNoppen, who is the ART/RE/ART founder in addition to being a local artist and website designer, described the event as a showcase of the region’s immensely talented and diverse art community.
