Those travelling on Conley Road can expect delays after a driver lost control of their vehicle and crashed into a home.
The wreck occurred at 1601 Conley Road off of U.S. 64 around 6 p.m. Wednesday when the driver ran off the road and slammed into the house, according to a state trooper on scene.
Minor injuries are being reported and impaired driving is suspected at this time, according to a trooper on scene.
It’s unclear how many people were in the vehicle at this time.
The homeowner was outside when the crash occurred, according to an emergency responder on scene.
One lane of the road is closed as the crash is being investigated. Traffic is still moving, but motorists are encouraged to drive slowly through the area.
Brendletown Fire Department, Burke EMS and N.C. Highway Patrol have responded to the scene.
