The following charges were served on Sunday, December 22:

» Jason Antonio Lytle, 40, of Morganton, was charged with one felony count each of breaking or entering, larceny after breaking or entering and habitual breaking or entering. He was transported to Burke-Catawba jail and placed under a $25,000 secured bond. His trial date was set for Feb. 3.



» Lamont Ambers Spurling, 57, of 1320 Jacobs Lane, in Morganton, was charged with misdemeanor littering and being drunk, intoxicated and disruptive. He was cited and released. His trial date was set for April 13.

The following charges were served on Monday, December 23:

» Francisco Esteban Menchu Tax, 43, of 118 Evans St., C, in Morganton, was charged with misdemeanor driving while impaired. He was granted a custody release and a trial date was set for Feb. 21.

» Megan Lea O’Hare, 34, of 6980 County Road, 100, in Carthage, Missouri, was charged with misdemeanor failure to appear or comply. She was issued a $200 secured bond and released.

» Rudy Edilman Velasquez-Bravo, 37, of 303 Caldwell St., in Morganton, was charged with misdemeanor give or sell alcohol to a person less than 21. He was cited and released. His trial date was set for March 11.

» Larry Velasquez, 19, of 303 Caldwell St., in Morganton, was charged with misdemeanor consuming an alcoholic beverage underage. He was transported to Burke-Catawba jail and placed under a $500 secured bond. His trial date was set for March 11.

» Chad Allen Macjarrett, 22, of 3881 N.C. 126, in Morganton, was charged with misdemeanor communicating threats. He was released with a written promise to appear for a trial date set for Jan. 8.

» Xavier Allen Avery, 35, of 4278 CB Farm Road, in Conover, was charged with misdemeanor driving during revocation. He was transported to Burke-Catawba jail and placed under a $500 secured bond. His trial date was set for March 11.

» Jeffrey Lee Higgins, 58, of 108 Ross St., in Morganton, was charged with felony possession of schedule II controlled substances. He was transported to Burke-Catawba jail and placed under a $4,000 secured bond.

» David Lee Caviness II, 21, of 105 Willow Run Drive, 213, in Morganton, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of driving while impaired, failure to reduce speed, possession of schedule VI controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to Burke-Catawba jail and placed under a $1,000 secured bond. His trial date was set for Feb. 26.

» Ericka Joy Street, 28, of 4130 Valley Trails, in Morganton, was charged with misdemeanor larceny by changing price tag. She was cited and released. Her trial date was set for Feb. 26.

» Margie Marie Cantrell, 45, of 3182 Ed Bowman St., in Glen Alpine, was charged with felony possession of a schedule II controlled substance, felony possession of a controlled substance in a jail or prison and misdemeanor failure to appear or comply. She was transported to Burke-Catawba jail and placed under a $12,500 secured bond.

» Katrina Marie Pleasant, 31, of 525 Steelewood Drive, in Gainesville, GA, was charged with misdemeanor driving while impaired. She was granted a custody release and a trial date was set for Feb. 19.

» Ted McMurray Olson, 57, of Morganton, was charged with misdemeanor failure to appear or comply. He was transported to Burke-Catawba jail and placed under a $1,000 secured bond. His trial date was set for Feb. 12.

» Austen Michael Collins, 23, of 103 Ross St., in Morganton, was charged with misdemeanor larceny. He was transported to Burke-Catawba jail and placed under a $1,000 secured bond. His trial date was set for Jan. 6.

» Mary Victoria Keiser, 30, of 4463 Rainhill Drive, in Morganton, was charged with misdemeanor larceny by changing price tag and possession of stolen goods. She was cited and released. Her trial date was set for Feb. 26.

» Lindsey Delores Peterson, 27, of 3976 Causby Drive, in Morganton, was charged with misdemeanor larceny by changing price tag and possession of stolen goods. She was cited and released. Her trial date was set for Feb. 26.

» Shasta Nicole Stroupe, 36, of 1569 Vinney St., in Morganton, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of larceny of property, second-degree trespassing, possession of a schedule III controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was transported to Burke-Catawba jail and placed under a $2,000 secured bond. Her trial date was set for Feb. 26.

» Mary Elaine Johnson, 63, of 4328 Beck Road, in Morganton, was charged with misdemeanor larceny of property and two counts of misdemeanor failure to appear or comply. She was transported to Burke-Catawba jail and placed under a $7,000 secured bond. Her trial date was set for Feb. 26.

» Scottie Lee Hall, 47, of 4301 Berry School Ave., in Valdese, was charged with misdemeanor assault and battery. He was released with a written promise to appear for a trial date set for Jan. 15.

» Oshea Sterling Johnson, 43, of 305 Park Ave., B, in Morganton, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of communicating threats, stoplight violation and driving while impaired. » Jacinto Lopez Perez, 40, of 231 Eastview St., in Morganton, was charged with one misdemeanor count each of safe movement violation, possess or consume an alcoholic beverage in the passenger area of a vehicle, driving while impaired and driving while license revoked for impaired revocation. He was granted a custody release and a trial date was set for March 12.

» Francisco Pedro Miguel, 27, of 129 View St., C, in Morganton, was charged with misdemeanor assault on a female and resist, delay or obstructing a public officer. He was transported to Burke-Catawba jail and placed under a 48 hour hold plus an additional $1,000 secured bond. His trial date was set for Feb. 26.

» Jorge Dejesus-Hernandez, 21, of 3413 Icard Dairy Barn Road, in Connelly Springs, was charged with misdemeanor resist, delay or obstructing a public officer. He was transported to Burke-Catawba jail and placed under a $1,500 secured bond. His trial date was set for Jan. 27.

» Paula Sue Gentry, 56, of 157 Ridgewood Road, in Candler, was charged with misdemeanor possession of stolen goods and two misdemeanor counts each of larceny of property, failure to appear or comply and resist, delay or obstructing a public officer. She was transported to Burke-Catawba jail and placed under a $17,500 secured bond.

» Katlynn Amanda McGovern, 30, of 1190 Lloyd Beaver Road, in Morganton, was charged with one count each of felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor driving during revocation and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was transported to Burke-Catawba jail and placed under a $3,000 secured bond.

» Misty Sue Hall, 39, of 3907 Brown Home Place, in Morganton, was charged with misdemeanor larceny of property. She was cited and released. Her trial date was set for Jan. 29.

» Gwyneth El-Laine Hemphill, 21, of 102 Johnson St., in Morganton, was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine. She was transported to Burke-Catawba jail and placed under a $3,000 secured bond.
