1. Enjoy the next concert of the TGIF series this weekend. Nspire will continue the downtown concert series with music starting at 7 p.m. this Friday. Food and concessions vendors will open at 6 p.m., and the event will be accompanied by a cruise-in put on by the Morganton Motor Club. The concert, which will take place on the Historic Burke County Courthouse Square lawn in downtown Morganton, is free.

2. Jam out as the Valdese Family Friday Nights concert series continues this weekend. Shakedown will perform a concert in the Wells Fargo/town parking lot at 7 p.m. tonight Downtown stores will stay open later and concessions will be available. Admission to the event is free.

3. Listen to the music at Belle Farm this weekend. The first concert of their summer series will take place with Southwind tonight from 7-9 p.m. Donations will be accepted at the event. Belle Farm is located at 3851 Kathy Road in Morganton.

4. Have a good time at The Grind Café and Coffeehouse this weekend. Greg Mastin and The Druthers will play a show there tonight at 7:30 p.m. The cover charge for the event is $6. The Grind Café and Coffeehouse is located at 136 W. Union St. in downtown Morganton.

5. Hear a concert at Catawba Brewing Co. this weekend. Wiregrass will perform there from 8-11 p.m. tonight. On Saturday from 8-11 p.m., Sam Frazier and The Side Effects will play at the brewery. Catawba Brewing Co. is located at 212 S. Green St. in downtown Morganton.
