1. Celebrate at The Levee Brewery and Pub this weekend. The pub will celebrate its one-year anniversary of Friday from 7-11 p.m. with music from Shelby Rae Moore and a lasagna dinner. Cost is $15 in advance or $18 at the door. The fun will continue on Saturday with music by Rastacoustic from 8-10 p.m., along with a free dinner of jerk chicken, red beans and rice, and fried plantains at 6:30 p.m. The Levee is at 118 Main St. W. in Valdese.

2. Catch Week 12 of high school football tonight. In the regular-season finale, Draughn will play host to East Burke in a Northwestern Foothills 2A Conference and county rivalry game. In the same league, Patton will visit Hibriten. And in the Northwestern 3A/4A Conference, Freedom will travel to McDowell. All three games kick off at 7:30 p.m. and tickets cost $6.

3. Hear a concert at Catawba Brewing Co. this weekend. Tonight, the brewery will host Sam Frazier and The Side Effects from 8-11 p.m. On Saturday, entertainment will return with Shiela’s Traveling Circus from 8-11 p.m. Catawba Brewing Co. is at 212 S. Green St.

4. Listen to the tunes at Brown Mountain Bottleworks this weekend. Andrew Kasab will play at the shop on Saturday from 7:30-10 p.m. Brown Mountain Bottleworks is at 115 E. Union St.

5. Enjoy free music at CoMMA this weekend. The United States Army Field Band and Soliders’ Chorus will perform on Sunday from 3-4:15 p.m. CoMMA is at 401 S. College St.
