Back by popular demand from patrons and artists alike, the 2nd annual Lake James Art Show will open from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, in the club house at the Marion Lake Club in Nebo, and continue Saturday, November 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The show will feature the work of several new artists, including Torenzo Gann from south Florida exhibiting his oil paintings in a contemporary style, Mark Smothers from Tennessee with his watercolors in a realistic style, Jenny and James Tarpley with their beautiful photography, Brenda Salesman with her stained glass and Leslie Bradshaw with her colorful pottery.

Returning artists will include:

» Fred and Rose Pinkul (pottery)

» Erin Campbell (jewelry)

» Lorelle Bacon (jewelry)

» Kenn Haring (jewelry)

» Sarah Oiler (wire sculpture)

» Maggie and Fred Freeman (pottery)

» Cathy (jewelry/ oil paintings) and George Green (oil paintings)

Each artist will donate a percentage of their sales to a charity of their choice.

“Come out and see what great works these artists have created,” said Cathy Green, the show’s organizer.

The Marion Lake Club is located at 634 Lake Club Drive in Nebo. Visitors should follow the red ART signs.
