ICARD — A man received serious but non-life threatening injuries after his motorcycle crashed into a car Tuesday morning.
Beauford Lindsay Jr., 51, was driving his motorcycle on Icard Rhodhiss Road toward Team Sellers Road when a car driven by Cher Yang, 65, pulled out in front of him at around 11 a.m., said Trooper D.R. Lane with the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
Lindsay received serious but non-life threatening injuries in the crash, and was transported to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries, Lane said.
Yang was charged with failure to yield right of way, Lane said. While Lindsay was not at fault in the crash, he was cited for having an expired license.
Icard Township Fire and Rescue, Burke REACT, the Burke County Sheriff’s Office and Burke EMS responded along with NCSHP.
