VALDESE — Three people received drug charges after an investigation last week.
Chelsea Nicholle Martin, 26, of 302 Valdese Ave. in Drexel, was charged with felony trafficking methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a release from the Burke County Sheriff’s Office.
William Bryan Harrell, 39, of 21 J C Pickering Drive in Seminary, Missouri, was charged with felony possession of a schedule II controlled substance, the release said.
Terry Allan Griffin, 45, of 732 Griffin Ave. N.W. in Valdese, was charged with maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance, the release said.
Charges came against Martin, Harrell and Griffin after Valdese Police, BCSO and N.C. Probation and Parole officers initiated an investigation that led to 10 people being detained when officers arrived, the release said.
Suspected controlled substances were seized from multiple locations throughout the residence, and BCSO narcotics detectives were called to the scene, the release said.
Martin’s bond was set at $25,000 secured, while Harrell and Griffin both had their bonds set at $10,000 secured, the release said. They each have a court date set for Aug. 7.
