March 22, 1953 - February 11, 2020 Mrs. Deborah Raylene Wilson, 66, of Valdese, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020, at her residence, following a period of declining health. Deborah was born March 22, 1953, in Yancey County to the late Herman Hall and Dixie Blevins Hall. She was a dedicated member of Connelly Springs Freewill Baptist Church for 57 years, with many loving church family members. She worked for Alba-Waldensian for many years, and later with BCPS in the cafeteria for several schools before her retirement. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Tonya Blevins and Tammy Hall. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Lonnie James Wilson of the home; and children, Lisa Feeback and husband, Jody, and Adam Wilson and wife, Tina. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Aaron Feeback and wife, Kristen, Kaleb Feeback and wife, LaCosta, Lillie Wilson, Shelby Wilson, Clay Wilson; two great-grandchildren, Lizzie Kate, Lane Feeback; three sisters, Saundra Brittain, Nina Ward, Sharon Collins; a brother-in-law, Paul "Bobby" Wilson and wife, Darlene; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 15, at 11 a.m., at Connelly Springs Freewill Baptist Church, with Pastor Aaron Causby officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening (Friday, Feb. 14), from 7 to 9 p.m., at Heritage Funeral Service in Valdese.
