CHARLOTTE — Freedom High senior girls basketball player Josie Hise was the Carolina Panthers' "Keep Pounding Hero" for Sunday's game vs. the Washington Redskins at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.

Hise, who tore her ACL at the end of her sophomore season at East Burke (after which she was named conference and county player of the year), was recognized for overcoming the injury and making a full recovery as she got the chance to pound the drum at midfield before Sunday's game.
